And the list of preferences goes on and on!
At Danger Charters, we believe your Key West vacation should be stress-free, which is why we’ve designed tours that offer something for everyone. Check out our list of questions below to help you decide which Danger Charters tour is right for you.

Our Sail, Snorkel & Kayak tours and many of our Special Cruises are appropriate for all ages and are great for family fun. - Sit Back & Relax: Wind & Wine Sunset Sail
- Join The Adventure: Sail, Snorkel & Kayak
- Best of Both Worlds: Special Cruises
Our Wind & Wine Sunset Sail is ideal for watching the world go by – sun on your face, wind in your hair, and the sound of waves lapping at the boat. This tour features a thoughtfully crafted menu that includes eight top-quality wines, a variety of imported and domestic beers, and hand-selected hors d’oeuvres. Ahhhh … this is the life.
The pristine waters of Key West offer fantastic snorkeling and calm-water kayaking – no experience necessary! We sail to the Key West National Wildlife Refuge, a 375-mile area known to locals as the Backcountry. Here, we kayak above and snorkel within the shallow waters, sandbars, and mangrove forests that provide safe harbor for birds, turtles, butterflies, and sometimes manatee and dolphins.
Danger Charters Special Cruises allow you to choose your adventure! From our Fourth of July and Holiday Boat Parade cruise options to our Powerboat Races sail, we provide a luxurious front-row seat to some of Key West’s most spectacular events.
How much time do you have?
- All Day: Any Tour
- 4.5 Hours: Sail, Snorkel & Kayak; Special Cruises
- 2 Hours: Wind & Wine Sunset Sail; Special Cruises
- 1.5 Hours: Special Cruises

Are you prone to seasickness?
- Choose: West Coast
- Avoid: East Coast; Circumnavigation
At Danger Charters, we always aim for calm water and so it’s pretty unusual for our guests to experience motion sickness. If you are particularly prone to seasickness, though, we recommend that you choose tours that explore the West Coast of the island and depart from the Danger Chandlery Store. This means any of our Sail, Snorkel & Kayak tours are good options, and the Key West Wind & Wine Sunset Sail is your best bet for an evening sail. We typically only see calm water on these excursions.
Tours that leave from the Perry Marina are likely to experience mostly calm water and, potentially, a few waves. If that makes you nervous, you may want to avoid the Stock Island Wind & Wine Sunset Sail and our St. Patrick’s Day Happy Hour Sail which features a full circumnavigation of the island. If you have your eye on other special cruises, connect with us to verify our departure location.
